KCG Receives A2LA Accreditation as Cloud Inspector; Maryann Hirsch Comments

Knowledge Consulting Group has received an accreditation as a third-party cloud products and services assessor for FedRAMP after the company complated an evaluation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation.

The ISO/IEC 17020:2012 permits KCG to conduct inspections and tests of cloud information systems on behalf of the government, the company said Monday.

KCG President Maryann Hirsch said the A2LA accreditation recognizes the company’s work to perform its assessment activities within standards.

“KCG remains dedicated to ensuring our facilities and programs remain at the forefront of the industry, and are continuously making investments to bring the best service delivery to our clients,” Hirsch added.

FedRAMP, short for Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, seeks to accelerate the adoption of cloud technologies for the federal government.
