Three Wire System logoThree Wire Systems has acquired a so-called “AIS Cage” or hardware hosting site at the San Diego-based AIS Data Center from DefenseWeb Technologies as Three Wire aims to support applications in an accredited IT environment.

The company said Thursday the acquisition is part of its efforts to expand its application development and delivery services.

It will work with its subsidiary VetAdvisor to combine Agile Scrum Software Development Lifecycle, open source software and Amazon Web ServicesGovCloud cloud hosting environment to provide hosting services to customers.

The site is accredited by the Defense Department for controlled unclassified information as well as under DIACAP and FISMA, and provides functions for application backups, virtualization hosting, 24/7 monitoring, remote access and intrusion prevention.
