Exelis-logo, ExecutiveMosaicExelis and partner Korn Ferry are in search of military veterans who are interested in joining a program designed to help former service members transition into corporate roles.

Interested participants for the fourth session of the Exelis Action Corps-hosted Leveraging Military Leadership Program can submit their applications until Monday, Exelis said Wednesday.

“Veterans have invaluable talents and skills,” said Erica Jeffries, Exelis chief inclusion and diversity officer.

“The LMLP helps them transfer those skills to the civilian world and gives them tools to clearly articulate their unique value proposition to potential employers,” Jeffries added.

Exelis and Korn Ferry will jointly conduct on-site leadership development training for participating veterans in Herndon, Virginia, from March 13 to 15 and then provide four months of offsite and online instruction afterwards.

Several LMLP graduates have landed positions at Amazon, Lockheed Martin and McKinsey & Co., according to Exelis.
