Gary Labovich: Booz Allen Appraised at CMMI for Development Maturity Level 3

Booz Allen Hamilton’s information technology development group has achieved the third level of CMMI for Development Maturity appraisal.

Global Process Solutions conducted the evaluation on Booz Allen’s systems delivery processes and implementation activities for two weeks, Booz Allen said Wednesday.

Gary Labovich, an executive vice president at Booz Allen and head of the firm’s systems delivery group, said the Level 3 appraisal evaluates the firm’s “commitment to process maturity and quality.”

The Maturity Level 3 rating is meant to certify Booz Allen’s services for large-scale systems delivery programs.

“Our leadership in engineering excellence, process maturity, and innovation is a key part of Booz Allen’s Vision 2020 long-term strategy,” added Jeff Fossum, a vice president in Booz Allen’s systems delivery group.
