electronic health record EHRThe U.S. Defense Department’s health services provider is seeking a contractor to support medical information technology systems across the military.

In a notice published Friday on FedBizOpps, the Defense Health Agency said it would issue potential five-year contract for global help desk support related to the military health system.

DHA wants a vendor who can also provide system and application management services for the agency’s network infrastructure, virtualization and joint active directory platforms.

The selected contractor must also support DoD electronic health record systems and medical data exchanges with the departments of Veterans Affairs and Health and Human Services.

The contract would contain a 12-month base period and four 12-month options.
