PAC-3 Erint MissileA RaytheonTeldat alliance has wrapped up the design assessment on a militarized router technology for Patriot air and missile defense weapons.

Raytheon said Monday that Teldat is set to enter the manufacturing and design certification phase under the companies’ Patriot router development partnership.

“Teldat has demonstrated exemplary technical capabilities in support of this key initiative,” said Daniel Crowley, president of Raytheon’s integrated defense systems business.

Henryk Kruszynski, CEO of Teldat, said the company completed the initial batch of Patriot routers on schedule while meeting technology quality standards.

Raytheon says it has signed 28 initial teaming agreements and seven contract awards with Polish technology companies and is seeking partners to build naval, cyber, munition, sensor and missile systems.
