GSAThe General Services Administration is seeking information on potential sources of business models or procurement vehicles for the implementation of federated digital identity credential services for the Connect.gov program.

In the notice posted Thursday on FedBizOpps, GSA said the project management office for cloud computing services within the Federal Acquisition Service aims to develop a shared service operating model for Connect.gov’s full operational capability.

Connect.gov works to provide the public access to government online services using accredited commercially available digital credentials issued by third parties, the notice stated.

GSA said it seeks to determine Connect.gov’s viability, feasibility, cost effectiveness, industry readiness and innovation ahead of the full operational capability phase.
