KPMGLynne Doughtie, former head of KPMG LLP’s advisory business, has been elected to the roles of chairman and CEO at the accounting and consulting firm, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.

Michael Rapoport writes Doughtie will begin her five-year term on July 1.

She will succeed current chief executive John Veihmeyer, who will remain as KPMG’s global chairman, according to the report.

Doughtie has led KPMG’s U.S. consulting practice since 2011, the Journal reports.

She joined KPMG in 1985 as an auditor and later moved into an advisory role in the 1990s, Rapoport reports.
