ICF InternationalICF International has been selected to coordinate the public employment services of the 28 European Union member-states under a $7 million contract with the European Commission.

The company will provide support for the European Network for Public Employment Services’ peer reviews, conferences, study visits, working groups, PES counseling, and practitioner toolkits and analytical papers development efforts, ICF said Thursday.

The contract contains a one-year base period and three option years.

Jeanne Townend, executive vice president for ICF, said the company would support the “mutual learning program” that she described as providing “opportunity for PES across Europe to share experiences and learn from each other.”

“We recognize the leading role that PES can play in addressing challenges in the E.U. labor market by effectively matching jobseekers and employers and facilitating transitions that people make throughout their working lives,” added Townend.

ICF will also update the PES network website to display PES results to the public.
