SAP-HP Team to Offer App Migration Services Via HANA, Helion

SAP and Hewlett-Packard have partnered to deliver a joint offering that supports the migration of business applications to SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA via the HP Helion Managed Cloud.

SAP said Tuesday the companies will also provide consulting, software, application migration and implementation services to customers that seek to transition workloads into a digital platform.

Michael Kleinemeier, member of SAP’s global managing board, said the joint offering also works to support the company’s “Run Simple” campaign to help customers adapt to the “digital economy.”

HP will also provide cloud infrastructure services for SAP applications in SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud as part of the partnership, SAP said.
