John McGill Joins Parsons as SW Ontario Regional Director; Todd Wager Comments

John McGill has been named Parsons’ regional director for Canada’s southwest Ontario area.

The company said Thursday McGill will oversee the delivery of company’s transportation services to clients that span across Ontario’s southwestern region to the metropolitan area of Toronto.

“John brings to Parsons a wealth of experience in both the public and private sectors, which gives him a comprehensive understanding of the issues surrounding transportation planning and engineering,” said Todd Wager, a Parsons group president.

The three-decade transportation management veteran has led several projects and authored traffic manuals for the Canadian province of Ontario.

He also helped lead efforts to create Ontario’s Federal Highway Administration Road Safety Audit Guidelines.

The Certified Professional Traffic Operations Engineer is a member of the Canadian Institute of Transportation Engineers and serves on the Consulting Engineers of Ontario’s board of directors.
