Steve Pusey, group chief technology officer at Vodafone Group PLC, has been elected to the board of directors at FireEye.
David DeWalt, board chairman and CEO of FireEye, said Wednesday that Pusey will share his experience and perspective as the company works to deliver platforms designed to protect enterprises against cyber attacks.
“Steve Pusey is that rare breed of business leader who combines strategic technology insights with the proven ability to connect with customers across international markets,†DeWalt added.
The more than three-decade industry veteran, who has been a member of Vodafone’s board since 2009, is set to leave the U.K.-based telecommunications firm in July, according to FireEye.
Pusey was Vodafone’s representative board member for Verizon Wireless and held various leadership roles at Nortel Networks for more than 20 years.
