AccentureLogo1 EbizAccenture has launched a new version of a set of software platforms designed to help government agencies manage and track applications for Medicaid benefits and other public services.

The company Thursday Human Services Suite version 7.1 is comprised of Citizen Self-Service Portal, Accenture Public Service Platform and Benefits Management System.

The latest release has an identity verification tool, an option for applicants to perform online tracking of their applications and a platform designed to facilitate communication between agencies and service providers.

Human Services Suite version 7.1 also works to help state agencies comply with a provision of the Affordable Care Act by allowing them to passively renew beneficiaries’ Medicaid benefits based on modified adjusted gross income.

“Enabling applicants to apply online, with passive renewal of MAGI Medicaid benefits allows citizens to receive near real-time eligibility determination,” said Adelaide O’Brien, research director for government IT transformation at IDC.

“This automation frees caseworkers from working on processing applications and allows them to spend more time on helping beneficiaries.”
