DyneticsDynetics has recruited Department of Homeland Security veteran Shane Hammett to become the company’s senior cybersecurity threat analyst.

Hammett will assist customers in evaluating the cyber threat landscape using the Dynetics’ Cyber RiskScope cyber risk management services, Dynetics said Monday.

“Cybersecurity risk assessment and mitigation strategies are becoming increasingly critical for businesses in their efforts to protect against cybersecurity threats,” said Jonathan Whitcomb, Dynetics vice president of enterprise services.

“Shane will be a real asset to Dynetics and to our customers in this area,” added Whitcomb.

Hammett most recently helped DHS form the National Cybersecurity Communication and Integrations Center in Pensacola, Florida.
