The Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum has appointed Ben Edson of VariQ and Sirena Johnson of Thompson Greenspon to two-year terms as members of the board of directors.
SECAF said July 1 Edson and Johnson will work to support its networking, thought leadership and other programs for the government contracting industry.
“The addition of Ben and Sirena to the SECAF board of directors ensures that our organization continues to be a valuable resource to the government contracting community as a whole,” said SECAF Chair Scott Brezler.
Edson is the founder and CEO of information technology solutions consulting company VariQ, which serves the cybersecurity, IT infrastructure and enterprise application development markets.
Johnson is a principal and member of the government contracting and employee benefit plans groups at Thompson Greenspon.
She has provided management consulting, accounting, tax and auditing services, particularly for federal government contractors.
