The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has released a pre-solicitation that seeks research proposals from industry sources for a defense system against distributed denial of service attacks.
DARPA said in a broad agency announcement issued Friday that the goal is to develop a program to disperse cyber assets and hide those assets’ characteristics in order to prevent a cyber attack.
SC Magazine reports DARPA will begin to review the proposals in October and kick off the development phase in April 2016.
