Executive Profile: Brian Marvin, Sales VP for Public Sector at BMC Software

Brian Marvin serves as vice president of sales for the public sector at BMC Software.

Marvin has been with the software company since 2007 and his prior roles include regional manager for the federal sector; country manager for France, Spain and Portugal; and VP of worldwide channels and data center automation.

His focus areas at BMC have include business management, cloud computing, Software as a Service, enterprise software and information technology service management.

Prior to BMC, he worked for more than a decade at technology and consulting firm Pass Privilege as VP of worldwide sales.

The two-time CRN magazine’s Channel Chief award recipient previously served as area manager at software firm PTC, formerly Parametric Technology.
