cloud computingThe U.S. Internal Revenue Service is requesting information about potential providers of a software-as-a-service platform designed for contact center operations.

IRS said Aug. 10 in a FedBizOpps notice that it seeks a vendor who can deliver SaaS that complies with the agency’s information technology security and data privacy policies.

The agency also wants to know the cost of implementing and maintaining targeted contact center applications in a cloud environment.

Responses are due Tuesday, September 8th.
