cyber, computerWright State Applied Research Corp. has won a $42.5 million contract to help the U.S. Air Force explore tools to facilitate human-machine collaboration on intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance data analysis.

The Defense Department said Friday that WSARC will perform ISR knowledge elicitation, concept design and development and performance assessment services for the Air Force Research Laboratory.

The project’s goal is to build, test and demonstrate a technology that can enable analyst and computer teaming in ISR operations through cognitive systems engineering.

WSARC will perform the work in Dayton, Ohio, and is scheduled to finish Feb. 7, 2022.

Three proposals were submitted to AFRL for the contract and the military service will obligate $1,180,828 at the time of award from fiscal 2015 research, development, test and evaluation funds.
