CAE‘s healthcare business has partnered with MedAffinity to integrate the latter’s electronic health record system with LearningSpace in order to support healthcare simulations for learning purposes.
The companies said Tuesday the integrated technology will add simulated clinical experience content into the EHR system in an effort to help LearningSpace administrators review and score learner performance.
“[Our] educators can offer learners realistic and measurable practice with a comprehensive EHR system,” said Robert Amyot, president of CAE’s healthcare business.
He added that the technology looks at both the medical performance and the learners’ clinical reasoning for diagnosis and treatment.
