VSELogoVSE Corp. has been awarded a $37 million contract to manage, maintain and test assault amphibious vehicles for the U.S. Marine Corps.

The company will provide the program management, evaluation, logistics support and vehicle storage services to the test vehicles located in Ruther Glen, Virginia and other locations, VSE said Wednesday.

“Our number one goal is to ensure that our nation’s first line of defense is fully supported to accomplish their mission,” said J.R. Brown, VSE’s federal services group president.

The contract contains a six-month base period of performance and four one-year options.
