KC46ABoeing has awarded Avcorp Industries a subcontract to produce panoramic camera fairings for the KC-46A Pegasus tanker aircraft of the U.S. Air Force.

Avcorp will assemble metallic components of panoramic camera structures into a fully integrated system for installation on the 767-2C fuselage at Boeing’s facility in Everett, Washington, Avcorp said Monday.

The Boeing-built KC-46 works to refuel military planes of the U.S. and allied forces and transport military personnel and cargo.

The aircraft has two Pratt & Whitney-built PW 4062 engines and has a fuel capacity of 212,299 pounds.

“This new contract underscores the importance of our longstanding supply partnership with Boeing,” said Peter George, CEO of Avcorp Industries.

Avcorp has been a supplier of aircraft components to Boeing for more than two decades and those include metal partition panels, wing tip panels and wheel well fairings for Boeing 737 planes and CH47 Chinook helicopters.
