Sparton Corp. has earned a top award from Raytheon in recognition of the company’s role as a supplier of subassemblies and efforts toward affordability.
Sparton said its Plaistow, New Hampshire-based facility is among the 12 recipients of the five-star recognition from Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems.
“Receiving this prestigious honor three years in a row is a remarkable achievement,” said Jamie Shaddix, group vice president of mil/aero manufacturing services for Sparton.
The company also received a bronze award in the affordability category for working with Raytheon to reduce costs for the Patriot air and missile defense program.
Raytheon presented the award to Sparton at the Supplier Excellence Conference in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
