Data center security firm vArmour and Amazon Web Services have formed a partnership to help enterprises secure and manage their data workloads on AWS’ private, public and hybrid cloud computing platforms.
VArmour will offer network control, policy enforcement and visibility to clients with workloads that run on AWS cloud environments through its Distributed Security System, vArmour said Monday.
Angie Messer, executive vice president and head of predictive intelligence business at Booz Allen Hamilton, said Booz Allen will collaborate with vArmour to develop and provide Internet of Things and security platforms to clients as they migrate to AWS cloud environments.
vArmour’s DSS platform is designed to provide application-layer security to data workloads and help customers view network traffic and track the location of applications between Amazon Virtual Private Cloud infrastructures.
