cybersecurityThe Mach37 Cyber Accelerator has opened the application process for its 90-day mentorship program that seeks to help startups develop and market their information security platforms with a $50,000 investment.

The business accelerator will select up to eight early-stage firms for the Spring 2016 Cohort program that is scheduled to launch on March 14, Mach37 said Wednesday.

Bob Stratton, general partner at Mach37, said the program aims to help cyber startups verify their products that work to address network security risks.

Mach37 requires each startup applicant to have a team of two to four members and to stay in Virginia for the 90-day session.

Interested parties can submit their applications by Dec. 4.

Mach37 collaborates with the Center for Innovative Technology on the program.
