CGIÂ will provide technical support for pollution prevention, hazardous materials minimization and related service areas to the G-4 Logistics Office of Army Aviation and Missile Command under a five-year, $9.9 million contract.
The company said Tuesday it will work to help AMCOM G-4 ensure the command’s compliance with environmental laws and regulations for its weapons systems and facilities.
“CGI is committed to helping the command identify its environmental hazards and resolve them in a safe, cost-effective manner,” said Patrick Dougherty, senior vice president for U.S. defense programs at CGI.
Under the contract, CGI will perform environmental compliance audits, occupational health evaluations, hazardous material management program reviews, environmental health and safety training as well as National Environmental Policy Act analysis.
