CTC Concurrent TechnologiesDavid Artman, formerly senior vice president at Applied Research Associates, has joined Concurrent Technologies Corp. as SVP of the engineering group.

He will lead the company’s technical and business development staff and be responsible for various technology development efforts, CTC said Tuesday.

Ed Sheehan Jr., CTC president and CEO, said Artman will help the company expand its business in the areas of research, development, testing and evaluation; weapons systems and platforms; and other national R&D activities.

Artman previously served as VP at ERES Consultants Inc.

He also held various roles at the U.S. Air Force, where he developed science and engineering technologies and oversaw technology for military users.
