John Wilson serves as vice president for programs and technology at the nonprofit organization Mitre‘s Center for National Security.
Wilson is responsible for a federally-funded research-and-development that Mitre oversees for intelligence agencies and the Defense Department.
He has led a team of engineers that offered network, information technology infrastructure and communications support to the U.S. Air Force and DoD when he served as technical director of the Net-Centric Division at CNS.
The 32-year veteran of the nonprofit research and development organization also served as technical director of the Information Technologies and Software Center at Mitre.
Wilson spent more than a year at KANA Software as director of consulting technology.
He designed and instructed courses in software engineering, computer science and electronic commerce as an adjunct faculty member at Daniel Webster College, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Boston University.
The University of New Hampshire alumnus holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and a master’s degree in software engineering from Wang Institute.
