Grant thornton logoKevin Ladner, a 30-year veteran of Grant Thornton‘s Canadian business, has been named executive partner and CEO of the professional services company effective April 1, 2016.

Ladner currently serves as regional managing partner for Atlantic Canada at Grant Thornton and will succeed Phil Noble, who will step down from his roles on March 31, 2016, the company said Monday.

“Kevin has achieved a very successful and consistent track record of results, which he attributes to his passion for leading highly engaged teams, dedicated to delivering exceptional client service,” said Michael Creber, chair of the partnership board at Grant Thornton.

Ladner has held senior leadership positions since he joined the firm in 1985, such as office managing partner and member of the company’s policy board from 2003 through 2006.

He also served on the boards of directors of various institutions, including Canada’s Chamber of Commerce and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
