software engineeringThe General Services Administration‘s 18F digital services agency has suspended the implementation of the Agile Blanket Purchase Agreement after a company filed a new protest with the Government Accountability Office, Nextgov reported Monday.

Mohana Ravindranath writes GSA notified companies that won positions on the pre-approved list of 16 contractors for the Agile BPA that work on the program will be suspended after IT consulting firm TCG filed a protest on Dec. 23.

18F’s Agile BPA program seeks to expedite the acquisition of information technology platforms and services and shorten contract timelines on technology projects, Ravindranath reports.

Two protests were submitted with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and three were filed with GAO after GSA released the list of awardees on the contract vehicle in August.

Public documents show that GAO moved to dismiss the three protests initially filed by TCG, InfoZen and MetroStar.

The U.S. Court of Federal Claims also dismissed the case filed by Octo Consulting against the 18F program in September, according to Nextgov.
