CenturyLink has won four task orders worth $10 million combined from the Defense Information Systems Agency to supply network and data transmission services to Defense Information Systems Network users in various regions across the U.S.

The company will deliver Ethernet private line and Internet Protocol services to support networks in Colorado, Virginia, Alabama and Nebraska through May 2017, CenturyLink said Wednesday.

Tim Meehan, CenturyLink senior vice president and general manager of the federal government team, said the company will provide core network services to the Defense Department in an effort to help defend the nation.

DISA awarded the contract via the General Services Administration‘s Networx Enterprise vehicle.
