mentorshipHarris Corp. and Korn Ferry’s Hay Group division have kicked off the online application process for a program that aims to help military veterans enter the civilian sector.

Former service members can submit their applications for the seventh session of the Leveraging Military Leadership Program through Feb. 8, Korn Ferry said Tuesday.

“Veterans entering the civilian workforce offer tremendous skills and represent an incredible talent source for employers nationwide,” said Robert Duffy, senior vice president of human resources and administration at Harris.

The pro-bono program “teaches veterans how to strengthen their personal, interpersonal and executive communication skills, clearly articulate their unique value, and chart their professional journey based on a strong career strategy,” said Noah Rabinowitz, senior partner and global lead for executive leadership development at Hay Group.

Harris and Korn Ferry will hold in-residence training in Herndon, Virginia from April 8 to 10 and will conduct group exercises, in-person and online assessments, coaching, and lectures over three months under the program.
