C-17A United Technologies Corp. subsidiary has won a subcontract from Boeing to continue to produce landing gear systems for integration with the U.S. Air Force’s C-17 Globemaster III aircraft and AH-64E Apache helicopters.

UTC Aerospace Systems said Tuesday work on the contract is scheduled to conclude in 2018.

The UTC subsidiary secured a contract in 2014 to continue to provide landing gear components and maintenance support services for the service branch’s fleet of Boeing-made C-17 military transport planes.
