CACI International has achieved Maturity Level 3 revalidation for development under the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration framework in recognition of its U.S. operations’ efforts to adopt process improvement practices.

CACI also received the institute’s Maturity Level 3 appraisal for services after Process Improvement & Compliance conducted an evaluation of the company’s U.S. operations, CACI said Monday.

The Defense Department and civilian agencies use the CMMI framework to assess the contractors’ capability to carry out software and systems engineering tasks.

Ken Asbury, CACI president and CEO and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016, said the appraisals seek to recognize the company’s efforts to maintain and achieve process control and project management standards.
