CAECAE has recorded a new milestone of more than 350,000 hours for the NATO Flying Training in Canada program since the initiative began in 2000.

The CT-156 Harvard fleet surpassed 240,000 flying hours that represent more than 200,000 flights and the CT-155 Hawk fighter lead-in trainer fleet completed 110,000 flying hours from 95,000 flights, CAE said Wednesday.

Mike Greenley, vice president and general manager of CAE Canada, said the company looks forward “to supporting the Royal Canadian Air Force and other international customers on the NFTC and future pilot training programs.”

CAE operates NATO Flying Training in Canada out of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and Cold Lake in Alberta and handles the live flying training program and maintenance.

The company also provides ground-school classroom and simulation for the pilot training program.
