DHS - ExecutiveMosaicThe Department of Homeland Security is currently seeking loaned executives to work with its science and technology directorate and provide assessment support and recommendations on the commercialization of research and development efforts.

The incumbent or incumbents will be part of integrated product teams in an effort to evaluate the current state of technology transfer and commercialization in the S&T directorate, DHS said in a notice.

DHS said it may get one or more loaned executives for six-month assignments as subject matter experts, with the option to renew for another six months, the notice stated.

Executives who will take the assignment are tasked to provide advice and guidance on commercialization options, identify opportunities for commercialization under the S&T portfolio and advise on outreach programs that aim to build relationships with industry and generate awareness regarding DHS issues, among other responsibilities.

The deadline for applications is on April 8.
