Paul Retzbach Joins PC Security Company CertiPath as Chief Operating Officer

Paul Retzbach has joined Reston, Virginia-based computer security services company CertiPath as its new chief operating officer.

CertiPath said Tuesday Retzbach started his new role in January and holds at least 20 years of experience in the global security and software markets as well as areas such as business development, project management, business process improvement and profit-and-loss management.

Retzbach previously served as vice president of customer services for VidSys for nearly two years and acted as a senior leader over project managers, deployment technicians, system architects and customer service call center professionals.

He also held management and leadership roles at Stanley Security Solutions, M.C. Dean, United Technologies Corp.’s fire and security unit, Tyco‘s SimplexGrinell business and ADT.

Retzbach holds a bachelor’s degree in housing and design from the University of Maryland College Park and a master’s degree in change management from The Johns Hopkins University – Carey Business School.
