Strategy and Management Services President and CEO Staci Redmon has received the Small Business Administration‘s “Small Business Person of the Year” recognition for the northern Virginia area.
Redmon, who founded SAMS in 2008, has led the company to reach a four-year compound annual growth rate of 122.29 percent through 2015, SAMS said Thursday.
A U.S. Army veteran, Redmon contributed to charitable organizations and founded the SAMS Cares division in 2014 in effort to spur employees into several volunteer programs.
She has earned a master’s degree with specialization in acquisitions, holds graduate certificates in procurement and federal contracts management and has completed the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program.
“The SBA has been a great resource for me while building a strong foundation for SAMS,” Redmon said.
