FedScoop has named Casey Coleman, group vice president for civilian agencies within Unisys‘ federal systems unit, into the “Top 50 Women in Technology for 2016” list.

Coleman said in an interview with FedScoop that her mentors from her student days and early professional career have driven her to enter the STEM field.

Coleman previously served as client executive vice president at AT&T‘s government solutions unit after she held the role as chief information officer at the General Services Administration.

Prior to that, she was the CIO of GSA’s Federal Acquisition Services between August 2004 and July 2007.

Before she joined the public sector, Coleman was a sales and consulting officer at Kintana, consulting manager at Kana Software, senior sales engineer at True Software, sales and consulting officer at Pure Atria and senior systems engineer at Lockheed Martin.

She was inducted into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 lists for 2014 and 2015.

FedScoop said Thursday the Top 50 Women in Technology for 2016 recognizes the women who contributed to the government’s effort to use technology to support agency missions.
