Jacobs Engineering Group has been selected to manage and support the construction of fossil plants and hydro dams located in Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky for an undisclosed contract amount.
The company will provide managed task construction management services for the Tennessee Valley Authority’s civil projects and coal combustion product management group under the terms of the contract, Jacobs said Wednesday.
The contract contains a three-year base period of performance and two one-year options.
It also covers project support, contractor oversight, quality assurance, field engineering and safety monitoring, Jacobs added.
