Discover Technologies LogoDiscover Technologies has obtained a Certificate of Networthiness from the U.S. Army‘s Network Enterprise Technology Command for the company’s technology that works to help SharePoint users transmit data in low-bandwidth areas.

Discover Access for SharePoint is designed to comply with Section 508 standards and WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility standards and seeks to accelerate the time it takes to load data from 2.6 minutes to 25 seconds when connected to a satellite network, Discover Technologies said Thursday.

“We at Discover Technologies are honored to receive the CoN from the U.S. Army, this opens the opportunity to help the Army equip our soldiers in theater with technology that provides faster delivery of mission critical data,” noted  David Truitt, Discover Technologies CEO.

The Army’s networthiness certification program aims to ensure that third-party systems, tools or software comply with security, architecture, reliability and integration requirements before the products are integrated into the service branch’s information technology infrastructure.
