LogisticsErickson has received two five-year contracts worth approximately $70 million combined to provide rotary-wing logistics support and vertical replenishment services to the U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command.

Each contract has a base term of one year and four option years and covers ship-to-shore, ship-to-ship logistics services as well as aircraft, personnel and spares for the service branch’s 5th and 7th fleets, Erickson said Monday.

The company, which has carried out vertical replenishment support for the military branch since 2004, will perform work under both contracts at a U.S. naval base in Apra Harbor, Guam

Erickson said it received the contracts in February but waited for the protests with the Government Accountability Office to be resolved before it announced the contract awards.
