MITRELogoThe Washington Post has placed Mitre on the eighth spot of the 2016 edition of the publication’s annual Top Workplaces list to represent the nonprofit organization’s second consecutive year of selection.

Mitre said Monday survey firm WorkplaceDynamics conducted the Post’s 2016 Top Workplaces survey that measured individuals’ responses to statements on factors in employee happiness such as company direction, execution, employee connection, workload and responsibility, management, pay and benefits.

“We are proud to be known for offering our employees flexibility, great benefits, and the opportunity to contribute to our nation’s most pressing challenges,” said Julie Gravallese, Mitre vice president and chief human resources officer.

Mitre added the Top Workplaces list is based on employee feedback and noted the company’s workers gave it the highest score on offering the flexibility to balance work and personal life as well as the benefits package.
