Rockwell-collins - ExecutiveMosaicRockwell Collins has received a $24.9 million cost-plus-fixed-fee indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract from the U.S. Navy to provide various equipment for the AN/ALQ-231 Intrepid Tiger Electronic Attack System.

Rockwell Collins will deliver roughly 194 Quint Networking Technology radios and 379 hardware parts and perform 36,482 hours of incidental equipment modification services for the precision pods, the Defense Department said Wednesday.

The Intrepid Tiger II precision pod works to provide airborne electronic warfare functions that are controlled through a cockpit or a ground operator for U.S. Marine Corps fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft.

DoD said Rockwell Collins will conduct majority of the work in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and the rest in Yuma, Arizona, with an expected completion date of May 2021.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division has obligated $32,790 from the Navy’s fiscal 2015 aircraft procurement funds for the contract, DoD noted.
