System Plus Inc. has won a $39.9 million contract to support the Defense Health Agency‘s global clinical system training mission as DHA prepares to implement the new Genesis military health system.
The company will develop a training support concept for the agency’s enterprise systems not included in previous training contracts as well as provide applications support beyond the agency’s clinical portfolio, the Defense Department said Friday.
Systems covered by the contract are Essentris, Defense Medical Human Resources System Internet, Workload Management System for Nursing Internet, Electronic Institutional Review Board, Enterprise Blood Management System and Armed Forces Billing and Collection Utilization Solution.
DoD said the company will customize workflow and role-based training to suit user integration branch training requirements of DHA.
The training program will comprise web-based and virtual classroom, eLearning events and hands-on models and occur at military treatment facilities inside and outside the continental U.S., the department added.
DHA awarded the contract to System Plus after a competitive solicitation process through the General Services Administration‘s Information Technology Schedule 70 vehicle and obligated $10.5 million in fiscal 2016 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
