LinQuest CorpLinQuest Corp. has been selected for a recompete contract to carry out engineering and operational services on research and development satellites for the U.S. Air Force‘s Space and Missile Systems Center.

LinQuest will support the center’s pre-launch, launch and early orbit, mission planning, on-orbit operations and anomaly resolution operations at Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico, LinQuest said Thursday.

Greg Young, vice president and general manager at LinQuest, said the company aims to build upon its past performance under a space test and engineering contract awarded to the company in 2009.

“This is the first time in the history of STEC that the incumbent team has been awarded the recompete contract,” added Leon Biederman, LinQuest’s president and CEO.
