Maximus - ExecutiveMosaicMaximus has secured a contract to help Idaho’s department of health and welfare manage a new program that offers workforce services to eligible participants in the state’s Supplemental Nutritional Assistance and Temporary Assistance for Families in Idaho programs.

The company said Tuesday it will work with SNAP and TAFI beneficiaries to gauge their skills and interests, build a career plan and provide them access to employment resources.

“Idaho’s Employment and Training Services Program is a critical cornerstone in helping Idaho families move to self-sufficiency by developing the skills and education necessary to find stability in the workforce,” said Lori Wolff, administrator for the welfare division at Idaho’s department of health and welfare.

“We are committed to helping Idaho achieve its mission of helping SNAP and TAFI participants achieve economic independence,” said Kathleen Keer, president of Maximus’ North American human services business.

The company said it also plans to collaborate with families, local stakeholders and employers to implement a person-centric holistic approach to make a positive impact on communities across the state.
