The Air Traffic Control Association has awarded CSRA the Earl F. Ward Memorial Award in recognition of the company’s contribution to efforts in the quality, safety and efficiency of the country’s air traffic control.
CSRA said Tuesday it received the award during the 61st ATCA Annual Conference and Exposition held in National Harbor, Maryland.
Falls Church, Virginia-based CSRA partnered with the Federal Aviation Administration in 2015 to develop a public-facing registration website for citizen-owned small unmanned aircraft systems that has received 550,000 drone registrations.
CSRA managed the full lifecycle development process and also designed, tested and delivered the cloud-native registration website to be accessible through PC and mobile devices.
