icf-2ICF has received a potential five-year, $11 million task order from professional services firm Mendez England & Associates to provide support services for a U.S. government program that seeks to advance food security efforts in partner countries.

ICF will collaborate with ME&A to provide technical support for the Global Program Evaluation for Effectiveness and Learning project as part of the Feed the Future initiative, ICF said Thursday.

The task order calls for ICF to design and execute population-based surveys as well as provide impact and performance evaluation services in an effort to facilitate investment and programming decisions for the Feed the Future program.

Ani Hyslop, a vice president at ICF, said the company will work to leverage its experience in program evaluation, survey research and social science to help determine future investments in the Feed the Future initiative.

The U.S. Agency for International Development’s bureau for food security leads the Feed the Future program that seeks to help partner countries develop their agriculture sectors in an effort to address poverty, hunger and undernutrition.
