Michael Braun, SGI Global co-founder and managing partner, has left the company after eight years of service.

SGI said Monday Braun has helped establish the company as a provider of international training, intelligence and logistic services.

He is a former assistant administrator and chief of operations at the Drug Enforcement Administration and led the operations of the Justice Department from 2004 to 2008.

“He has made huge contributions to the global effort to combat organized crime, drug crime and narcoterrorism,” the company added.
